Waking up, I felt warm, refreshed, having slept better than I had in weeks. I snuggled deep into my pillow, unwilling to get out of bed just yet. I was too cosy. Light tingles traced my skin, leaving a pleasant sensation flits through me.

Hearing a groan as something prodded my lower back, I turned my heard to see Xavier tucked up beside me. I let out a soft smile. I loved his hugs, but I'll never tell him why. His rich masculine scent hung in the air, a smell I was beginning to love. I would never tell him this, i’m sure his alpha ego is big enough.

I remember last night seeing how he threw me on the bed, a reminder of how much stronger he was than me. If he meant to hurt me, he would have done it already.
