Chapter 20. Waiting...

The excitement of the party slowly faded away towards midnight. The guests seemed to be enjoying themselves, as the food and drinks ran out on the long table.

Apparently, they were quite relaxed at Brandon's uncharacteristic demeanor. At first the Alphas were very tense, remembering the last time Brandon's wedding to Rachel took place.

Now, Brandon's Alphas looked friendlier. Although it was undeniable that that ruthless aura still seemed to surround his body.

At exactly midnight, the guests finally began to leave after congratulating Alpha Brandon and Rachel.

Rachel watched the guests leave one by one, until the hall was left with only herself, Brandon, and Victor. The baby had been in his room since half an hour ago, fast asleep after a belly full of milk.
