Author POV:-
Present:-
Trisha is running, she running away from her ex-husband or ex- mate. The person who destroys her life 10 years ago. The person who take away her every happiness, the person who broke her.
The person who throw her away 6 years ago, the person who is her pup father. After taking everything from Trisha he had audacity to call himself her mate, her husband.
After knowing the truth he wants her back. He want to mark her again as his. But Trisha hate him, she hate him the most.
After everything he did to her in past, rejecting her cruealy. He take her baby away.
He take her pup and now he wants her.
No Trisha will never go back to him.
She will never go back to that hell hole.
Thinking she had succeeded in running away from her ex-mate, Omega breathed in relief when she reached inside the airport.
But again, her relief lasted shorter than an exhale when seven vans pulled off urgently scaring the passengers but mostly startling the running omega who sprinted at the speed of light when she picked the scent of her ex-mate cousion & the Wisdom logo engraved on their expensive neat suits.
She quickened her pace when the clicks of their shiny shoes were getting closer. Trisha almost passed the gates. She was half a second away from her desired freedom. She could make it, she only had to fasten her strides & she would never have to face her ex-mate.
It was too late, her ex-mate Jonathan's cousin, bodyguard & his long-life companion Brandon had caught her effortlessly showing Wisdom long legacy badge to the security when they approached to interfere. All had turned their backs on the scene swallowing their morals to keep food on the table for their families.
"Going some where doll?"
Trisha hates it, she hates Jonathan friends and cousins. In the past they used to care about her, they treat her like a sister. Trisha doesn't even remember how many times they fight Jonathan and his mother for Trisha.
But when the time came they didn't even trust her, they call her with names. And now they are back calling her doll like they never call her with bad names.
"Stop running doll, come everyone is waiting for you."
The omega was grateful she was on scent blockers or she would have been completely defenseless in the presence of many alphas. She didn't try to run away when Brandon firmly secured his fingers around her arms.
"We will never hurt you doll, we really miss you. And I can't describe how sorry we are. But Doll we can't let you run away."
"I hate you all."
Brandon laugh and didn't say anything, he drag her with him and the security follow them. Trisha didn't dare to meet the passengers' eyes but she heard their discreet murmurs loud and clear. She didn't feel ashamed for running away. For leaving her ex-husband.
She held his head high in confusing pride. She made eye contact with each one of them daring them to continue the useless gossip. Next to her, she heard Brandon snicker under his breathe "You really change into scary Omega". The omega could only nod in agreement.
No one in their sane mind would ditch their mate, yes mate. Because Jonathan never signed the divorce paper. No. one in their sane mind would dare to humiliate the Wisdom family in front of world. Let alone to be abandoned by your own Omega. It was the ultimate act of disgrace & disobedience.
But Trisha don't give a fuck what Wisdoms thinks about her. If Jonathan thought Trisha will be an obedient trophy omega for him after everything, he thought wrong. She'd rather be dead or bite off the alpha's neck scent.
The ride to the Wisdom mansion took approximately 2 hour but felt like two decades to the omega who was clueless about fate's claws. Her ex-mate might be the most rich Alpha, yet, Trisha wouldn't grant him the privilege of occupying her mind. He wasn't worth it.
He was just another alpha who was obsessed with power & legacies. Who think omega nothing but a grabage.
Trisha watched curiously the massive golden gates opening and then enclosing when the seven vans passed the numerous security. She couldn't help but roll her eyes when they addressed her by her title. It's been 6 years and she left the Wisdom family and their name, she is no more the lady Omega.
She then scoffed unmannerly when she realized they must have been the alpha's orders. So fucking typical.
Brandon freed her arm gently when they left the car walking to the glamorous mansion. The bodyguards bowed respectfully and gave her a pitiful glance before Brandon left her standing there.
"What was that?"
The Wisdom logo was menacingly glaring at her. Suddenly a click broke the silence driving. Trisha to take a step back when the dark sleek doors were unlatched revealing none but her ex-mate. She instantaneously was hit by the strong scent she desperately tried to run from.
The aroma of sandalwood & dandelions attacked his senses breaking through the blockers and claiming her scent glands in utmost possessiveness. Jonathan was purposefully releasing intense pheromones reminding the omega she belonged to him. The alpha has started chaining her.
The omega's will was already fading in thin layers, his scent was flooding in robust spring tinted with autumn dead leaves. She had no idea how her vision turned iced blue reflecting the dark red irises of her fated/cursed mate. But her omega betrayed her. that asshole
"Jonathan, try to control youself. Remember it's all our fault."
Trisha herad him. 'Yes, your fault. You destory me.'
"I know Bran, take care Rain for me. Tell him his mom came back from store. And she is sleeping."
'My Rain, my baby.'
Trisha didn't hear anything after that. The alpha carried himself with mightiness, in his white attire. The way he tightened his sculpted sharp jaw sent shivers down Trisha spine. His thin lips were faintly smudged red. He must have been drinking red wine when his men reported him found & escorted back.
The thought only angered Trisha more, making her send daggers at the alpha's directions. To her surprise Jonathan appeared to read her mind because a smirk adorned her stern face. Trisha however, hissed disgustingly baring her small fangs. A clear warning "stay away".
When he got closer Trisha shifted defensively, her claws grew ready to bounce if it needed to. However, what the alpha did was the last thing the omega had expected to happen. She wasn't ready. She will never be ready. She expected some decency. She received none.
The cry of pain coupled with broken whines echoed in thunder against the pristine walls. The scent of a distressed omega & blood was prominent in the air.
The alpha had bitten her. He mated her.
After 10 years of their marriage. After evey pain he caused her. The last thing she heard before she blacked out was a feral voice growling in frustration licking her skin clean "mine".
(10 years ago) Author POV:- It's not that Trisha thinks Jason doesn't love her like his own, rather, she sometimes wishes he didn't. It would make it so very easy to leave him behind, run away from the demands of the life she'd always thought he wanted. But as things stand, disappearing would break Jason's heart, and Trisha just can't do it. He's the only father she's ever known, kind and stern and the first gentle touch she knew since the vague memory of her parents' passing as a child. She knows if Jason is asking this of her, they have run out of options. "He was once a good man," Jason tells her. "He is known as the most talented person in various countries now, and I know little of that man, but I heard he is hardworking, he had a good h
The guards around the mansion are having much fun, Jonathan doesn't have an excuse to miss the celebrations. It seemed Jonathan was doomed to fall asleep in his chair before the party started. He hate this, he don't want to marry with some poor Omega, fucking pathetic. "You seem exhausted, my son," Alexander Wisdom observed when Jonathan stifled another yawn. "You know how it is, Father - parties and revelry are pleasurable but tiring even for someone with my constitution. I know you enjoyed your fair share of such festivities in the past." Jonathan replied with a false smile. "The responsibilities of the business may one day rest on your shoulders. Perhaps it is time that you started to behave in a way more befitting of your status, and took interest in more serious matters of the state," Alexander said in a low voice. "You are not some lower noble of lesser blood, free to waste your time on pleasures of the flesh. You are my son." "I'm afraid I must beg to differ. You forced y

Continue Trisha POV:-This place was far more luxurious that it. It's complete change the last time I saw it? I was so busy inspecting the room that I didn't notice when my mother-in-law came inside."Yah, are you slow witted or what, always spacing out? God, my throat hurts yelling at you every time."I shrugged, simply ignore her. It was not new to me. No one talked to me without yelling or cursing except for few people I cherished in my life. I looked at her with blank expression; she must be here to tell me rules."There this is the new cupboard for your things. At any cost, don't touch any of Jonathan things. Make your presence as much less as possible. Don't try to enter in swimming pool, my son won't like it. And at last remember that just because you live with my son in a room doesn't mean you have succeeded. You are nothing less but an unwanted wife to him. If it's not him I will teach you a good leason"She said arrogantly left the room. She didn't have to remind me of that.
Trisha POVI opened my eyes and first thing I did was to run into the bathroom and empty my stomach. I sat there leaning on the wall. I was still shaking terribly. No matter how many times I see those nightmares, they still had same effect on me. Like I was still there. I hate those nightmares. They never let me sleep peacefully. I always see the little boy in my dream and the funny part is I never meet him.'Rain''Who are you?'I sat there crying silently for half an hour and slowly made my way out. I went inside the room. I was glad, my crying and yelling didn't disturbed Jonathan, as he was still sleeping peacefully. I looked at time, it was 2:30 in the morning. There was no way I would sleep after that nightmare. My heart was still racing. I slowly went outside without making any sound, seating on one of the chairs of balcony. I sat there, watching the stars, hugging my knees.Seeing stars at night always calmed me. Jason would say " the brightest star of all of them was our Ang
