Chapter:-55 (Happiness and Hesitation)

Author POV:-

Trisha was holding her son in her arms. He was wrapped up in a blue blanket, peacefully asleep in his parents arms, comfortable and warm. Trisha eyes filled with tears when she continued to watch her son sleeping in her arms and when she looked up, she saw that Jonathan wasn't doing any better, tears present in his eyes as well. Jonathan leaned closer and gently touched his son cheek with the back of his finger gently and he stroked his cheek. That motion made the baby wake up and Jonathan was surprised that he didn't cry. All that he did was yawn and then he looked up at Jonathan, who let out a hitched breath. With his finger, he gently stroked his son's small hand and his chest tightened when he wrapped his little fingers around his finger and didn't let go.

Trisha chuckled, her chuckle startling her son and he then looked over to her. "Hey, love. Did daddy wake you up?" whispered Trisha and a smile tugged at her face. "You're so cute, sweet pea," she then went on by sa
