“Damn it!" I yelled and punched the wall behind me, leaving a large whole. I shut my eyes in disappointment and anger.

“What happened back there between you two?” Max asked, sounding curious. “I thought you would control yourself until it was the right time to tell her who you really are. And we both agreed that will be after you two got your revenge on Evans.”

“I couldn’t take it anymore. She was getting on my nerves. She has so much trust in her father. I hated that she kept seeing him as a saint.”
