Chapter 65: The Good Neighbor

Bryan hasn't been back to the house since the night we got to meet Lois at the pack.

I missed him and I felt lonely living all alone in this house. To stay alive and out of sight, this is the price I have to pay.

I was done preparing breakfast for myself. I ate up and began to clean up the house.

The trash bin in the kitchen was filled up. I thought about leaving it until Bryan returns. But the kitchen would look messy if I did. I just have to step out and throw the dirt into the large trash bin outside.

I emptied the kitchen trash bin into the larger one. I have never viewed this neighborhood up close until now.

"Do you live here?"

The deep voice startled me. I jumped away, then turned around to see a tall guy in sweatpants and a vest watching me. He had airpods on and looked like he was going for a run or jog.

"Excuse me! Who are you?" I asked.

He smiled, revealing how attractive his face was. "I'm sorry. I'm new here." He walked up to me. "My name is James.
