Chapter 41: Stuck & Grind

“Shield!” Austin’s magic created a forcefield around them. The tree branch was bigger than it seemed and was heavy. He was glad he got there in time or else Agatha would have been seriously hurt.

Agatha felt Austin’s presence. He was behind her, protecting her. She was surprised, he saved her. She was busy observing the scenery and she wasn’t paying attention to her surroundings. She didn’t hear or see the tree branch from above her. If he didn’t shield her, she would have got injured.

“Phew, that was close,” said Austin, sighing that Agatha was okay.

Agatha turned her head around and asked him, “Are you okay?”

Austin was surprised he asked about his condition. He smiled and said, “Yes, I’m fine.”

Agatha looked up and the big tree branch and it’s pile of leaves completely covered both of them.

Austin tried to get up, but he was pinned by the tree branch. He couldn’t get out of the branch either because he was trapped. He tried to lift the thick and heavy branch with his magic but i
