Chapter 12

Alpha Aeron sat at a table in the bustling restaurant, about to dig into his meal when suddenly, a familiar and alluring scent wafted through the air. His nostrils twitched as he recognized it instantly as his Luna's, Myra.

"Ahh, Myra's scent," he muttered, his stomach growling in response. "She must have been here before me."

With his hunger momentarily forgotten, Aeron made up his mind to go in search of his beloved Luna. He hurriedly scooped up a spoonful of food, practically inhaling it, before pushing his plate away.

"I need to find her," he declared, determination filling his voice. "No time to waste."

Aeron dashed out of the restaurant, his powerful strides carrying him through the streets as he followed Myra's elusive scent. But with each step, frustration began to creep into his words.

"She's so close, yet the scent keeps fading," he grumbled, cursing his luck. "Where could she be?"

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, Aeron's exhaustion weighed heavy on him.
