While changing the covers of our Master's bed, my mind was flying back to the scene I saw yesterday. I couldn't help but ask what happened to the woman. What's her name? Where's she now? Why didn't she come back? A series of questions were shooting like arrows in the air muddling my brain.

Was this their way of living here in the human world? I couldn't get it. My parents were a loving couple and they had been together for more than two decades now. But him? Was the woman his “mate”? I was annoyed by my own question. "Mate! What nonsense are you talking about?" I scolded myself.

I opened the closet where the pillow covers were folded and took out two big light pink ones, a color I loved since I was a kid. I also saw a duvet that seemed to be a set with a cover and a bedspread. "Perfect!" my lips let out a radiant smile as I fixed the bed. Then I glanced at the drapes Sonia told me to change. I cringed at the dark shade that covered the bright hue coming from the sun. M
