Chapter 106: Moments with You

"Riona, please stay with me. Open your eyes, sweetheart!"

I clasped her hand tight while staring at her in her sleep. At first, she was just murmuring. She was mumbling some words even my wolf hearing couldn't understand. Then I saw her body shake a tad bit as her murmurs became audible.

"Matthew!" she whispered my name in the middle of her rest.

Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, she wasn't feverish but hot. I took a closer look as I leaned my body forward and saw the tears in the corner of her eyes.

Was she dreaming?

Probably!

"Matthew!" I heard my name once more. I planted some kisses on her cheeks and the tip of her nose. My hand wiped the sweat on her brow.

"Sweetheart, I'm here. I love you so much, Riona Grey!" I told her in her unconscious mind if that would make her stay with me, I would never get tired of speaking to her. "You're mine. You only belong to me!" I continued whispering while I showered her some kisses on her face and the back of her palm.
