Chapter 59: Retreat

Victor POV

Caesar tried to bite my neck but my fangs got a hold of his shoulder first, locking it deep and hard till I heard his howls. I took that opportunity to raise my paws and pushed his chest up so I could roll him over. As we changed positions I pinned him down to the ground with my fangs buried deep into his shoulder, my tongue tasted his blood.

"You'll never win against me, Caesar!" I kept speaking to him in my thoughts.

"That's what you think, Victor. But you're wrong!" he uttered.

His eyes sparked red exhibiting his alpha power I could say stronger than mine. As he lifted his head, I saw his pack shift their visions on us, snarling and roaring. They were communicating in their thoughts.

"Prepare! They're up to something new. Something we've never seen before!" I told my pack through mind-links which they hastily obeyed as they growled back and positioned in front of us, protecting me.
