Irene's POV

I ate like a hungry lion that was set loose on a young lad who just had his first breast milk minutes ago. I ate everything I could lay my hands on, beverages,, beef, pork, wine, alcohol. I just wanted to fill my stomach up to the brim, but the more I ate the less I got filled. My teeth ached, excessive chewing I guess. Precisely I chewed a lot of things,

"You could become a victim of food poison" Xavier cautioned staring at me with his eyes that said the words, 'Stop what you're doing or you'll hate what I'll do to you'. Well I loved being stubborn to people like Xavier, he always looked more beautiful and handsome when he was angry and I loved that aspect of him.

"I don't want to stop eating, I haven't eaten in the last 48 hours." I said with my mouthful of a tasty chicken meat.

"48 hours isn't forever, you're eating like you're dying tomorrow. It's as if your funeral has been arranged already and you act like you know it" We both laughed at his words.
