Maliya had said that Alisa was fine, so I felt relieved. I had immediately gone home after she had left.

For the rest of the day, I was distracted as I thought about all I discussed with Maliya.

Greta had come back and Daciana was in a bad state. If I wanted Daciana to survive, I had to go back to the Merge, taking Batya with me.
