Chapter 56

Third Person’s POV

Around eight in the evening when Henrick arrived home. He went straight to the third floor where Irvin’s room is. Almost running his way to the corridor just to reach Irvin as soon as possible. He halted in front of his door, straightened his shirt, calmed his breath, and then he knocked on the door. “Vin, Can I come in?”

There was silence. Henrick starts to feel something was off. He turned the knob, it’s unlocked, and pushed the door open. It was dark and the curtain was wide open. He ran inside to search for Irvin but stopped as soon as he saw him sitting on the floor, facing the window. He was wrapped in a blanket and seemed mad at him.

He sat beside him. Making sure that there is some space between them. “I’m sorry.” Almost mumbling his words.

Irvin glared at him, pouting. “What did you just say?” his tone was a little bit higher than usual.

He took a deep breath, collected all his gut and said, “I’m really sorry.”

“Why did you leave me here?” his eyes are tear
