“Are you sure that you’re not staying here tonight?” Herman asked as the two exited the door of their home. It’s already past eleven and Hillary so far has fallen asleep.

“No need, Mr. Williams. I still need to finish some of my assignments tonight.” Irvin explained. “But I’ll probably be here on Hillary’s birthday.”

The old man bobbed his head. “Ok then. Be careful on your way home.”

Irvin and Henrick waved goodbye to the couple until they reached the sedan that parked on the entrance of their gate. Henrick opened the car door for Irvin before he finally took his seat beside him.

“I can’t believe you’re also good with kids.” Irvin tried to tease Henrick on their way home. But he acted cold and didn’t even show any reaction to him. Different from how he acted earlier. “What’s wrong?” Irvin asked. Baffled.

“I am still mad at you.” Henrick stated. Behaving a toddler sulking for not buying the toys that he wants.
