Third Person’s

Max intently watches himself in the mirror. The shade of blank and gray pleases his eyes that he can’t help but feel satisfied at his own look. He’s still in the middle of picking his tie when Silvia came in. Her perfect brow was furrowed and her lips were pursed.

“You’re mad.” He guessed it right.

Silvia walked towards him. She stands between the mirror and Max to help him with his necktie. “Henrick isn’t responding to my text. I’ve been calling him but he keeps on hanging up the call. I don’t know what to do anymore.” She looks like a grouchy teenager in a lavender silky nightgown. Her husband’s eyes landed on her bulky bust that even without the support of a brassiere still looks good for him. “I only have forty-eight hours to totally convince about this.” Silvia added. Not noticing the hard swallow that Max did.
