A "Noble" Plan

Lord Heather would not attack an army led by a dying man, he is too honorable for that dishonesty. Once he got an information that Erwin was mortally wounded, he sent his troops back to his castle. He did not stoop so low as to take advantage of Erwin's plight to win the war.

Erwin was unconscious for almost two months before he opened his eyes again. During his unconsciousness, his soldiera faithfully guarded him. So he was treated for on the the very same meadow, with limited physican and medicine.
