The Purgatory

Lady Cresta took Anna to another realm, Purgatory. The realm between the human world and the afterlife. This is where the souls who are not welcome in the hereafter float. The realm resembles a vast meadow at night. An endless meadow. Only grass on all horizons. With a mystical purple, blue and pink night sky full of celestial bodies. What an amazing landscape, cosmic and yet mysteriously beautiful, this sky. Anna was spellbound and had goose bumps.

"It's beautiful." Anna said as she looked up at the sky. "How can you be tormented here?"

"I'll show you everything. You will be in pain, my lady." Lady Cresta said when she saw Anna in tears after seeing how beautiful the sky is.

"Is this place some sort of time machine?"

"No, but every event that has ever happened in the world is recorded here. This is Purgatory. The realm of rejected souls."

Cresta took Anna by the hand and led her around.
