CHAPTER 5

          Aminat had woke before her bedside alarm could ring, laying on the bed and she was now the one waiting for it. Her mind had been at the new headquarter that they were resuming to and that was why she woke up very early and not intentionally.

The bedside alarm started ringing after some minutes that she had opened her eye widely on the bed. She got down from the bed with a short gown pyjamas and going to the toilet with a cap on her head.

She took a toothbrush inside a basket, washed it with water and put it in toothpaste dispenser and started brushing her tooth. She used water to clean her mouth after few minutes and the toothbrush, returned it back inside the basket and off the cloth with the cap, and started taking her bath.

     The same thing was happening in Hamidat's house too, she had woke up that even she was the one that woke her husband up as the alarm rang. It was her husband that used to wake her up every day and it was beside her husband that the alarm uses to be because Hamidat would just off the alarm without waking up and continued sleeping even without waking her husband up too, that was her bad habits.

Today her husband was so surprised that she could wake up by that time and she could be the one that would wake him up this morning. Her husband was looking at her inside the bathroom taking a bath with a great surprised. She came out from the bathroom with a towel used to wrap her long hair and wearing an underwear.

She sat down at the front of the dressing mirror and started dressing up for work. Her husband got down from the bed, peaked her on her right cheek and went to the bathroom to take his bath.

Aminat was standing at the front of the dressing mirror, looking at herself in a lovely and new office fit that she was putting on. She took a brown handbag on bed put her phone inside it and left the room.

Her younger brother whom his name was Sani was in the living room packing breakfast for Zaira and packing other necessary things that she could need in school inside another back bag, when Aminat came out from her bedroom in her mother's house.

"Good morning! How do I look!" Said with smile and turning around, Sani was looking at her and said.

"It's your normal way of dressing now, no different!" Said with loud voice and Aminat stopped springing.

"Same! Same!! Same!!" Asked for three time.

"Yes same!" Said with low voice. Sani was not good in fashion at all just only to play video game, play football and eat. He love food so much.

"How can you say same! How is the cloth now!" Said with low voice and their mother came out from her room to make coffee.

"You look so beautiful my daughter! It's because you are resume to new place that is why you dressed more so nice today!" Aminat faced her mother.

"Thank you Mom! You know that first impression uses to last very long, those people there must know that some people just arrived!" Sani looked at her and continued packing Zaira's school bags. 

"Is Zaira not done yet! Maybe it's you that will drop her because I have to go now!" Zaira ran out from the bedroom as she heard her mother's voice.

"I am done Mom!" Collected her bags from Sani's hand, put the back bag on her shoulder and holding the second bag. She greeted her grandmother and following her mother, sound of the door closed.

Aminat's mother on the coffee maker, put a mug under it and poured full coffee inside the mug and went back to her room when Sani too started dressing for work.

Aminat opened the back door for her daughter, Zaira entered and she closed the door. She went to the driver side, entered and driving out of the compound.

     They arrived to Zaira's school after few minutes, drove inside the school compound and packed. Zaira ran down from the car, said goodbye to her mother and running to join her colleagues that were going to class. Aminat drove out from the school compound and driving to new US Detective headquarter.

Hamidat and Aminat's car drove inside the headquarter at the same time and packed at different places, Hamidat got down from the car immediately as she packed and going inside. Aminat was still inside the car, packing her bags together before she got down and arranging everything intently.

It was their both teams that had arrived and sitting at where they  offered them to sit. Aminat's team were sitting opposite to Hamidat's team and looking at each other. Hamidat entered the place and a young lady there walked closed to her.

"Good morning Ma!" Said with smile on her face.

"Good morning! I am team leader from Bee detective branch, I and my teams are told to resume here today!" All her teams stood up from where they were and walking closed to her.

"Welcome Ma! Our boss will come out and address you soon also your office has been cleaning for you and the other teams, so please sit down ma!" The lady said and went back to her post.

"Good morning team Leader!" All her team greeted her. Door opened automatically and Aminat entered, Hamidat was starring at her, thinking of what she could come there to do.

Aminat faced the young lady and introduced herself to her, Aminat's team stood up and walked closed to her.

"Good morning our team leader!" All of them greeted her with respect and Hamidat looked at them and walked closed to the lady that came to meet her.

"Don't tell me she is the leader of the second team. It can never be true, what nonsense!" That was when Aminat too now looked at her and saw that it was Hamidat. Two of them were looking at each other with bad eyes and talking in chorused to the lady.

"I can never work with this girl! I need to see your boss and I have to go back to my formal place!" Aminat said loudly and their teams looked at each other.

"Calm down! Calm down two of you, boss will soon be here to address you so you-----" Hamidat stopped her with loud voice.

"I can't wait for Boss to come out! Where is his office? I need to go there now so that he could call those teams back to this place because I can't work with this one!"

"Young lady! Call your boss just to ask him that can I leave this place with my teams because I don't have time to be standing here with this Chameleon!" Aminat said with loud voice when a middle age man came out from a room with a smile on his face.

"Welcome my newly people! I am busy inside if not I will have been here since. How are you? And please how are the team leaders?" Aminat and Hamidat walked closed to him with anger showed all over them.

"Good morning Sir! I am the group leader to team Bee! Please we have to go back to our formal place, I can't work here at all! Please can I leave!" Hamidat said.

"What is going on? I have been hearing your voices loudly. You have been told that you have been transferred to this place and to resume here today, so why all this?"

"You are very right Sir! But our head there didn't say it's this Chameleon I will be working with! What they are expecting from us can never work out, I can never work together with her!" Aminat said with loud voice.

"Have they know each other before!" Coke said to the guy beside him loudly.

"I will make findings on it! Because I am surprised, what can be between them and make it so hard like this!" Basit said with low voice.

"Let me get something right! Have you know each other before and why are you acting like this? Let me tell you something, your transferred was from the Chief inspector general and nothing can be done to that!" The man said with low voice.

"Please Sir! Call him, I have to go back. I can't work with her or else everything won't go easy as he thought, I am sure that girl became a detective so that she could hind under it umbrella!" Hamidat said with loud voice.

"I don't use to have patient for all these nonsense! It's because you just resumed here and I have to finalize everything  well before you resume fully, can you please solve the problem between yourselves and I will give you few minutes to do that!" Aminat stopped the man.

"Sorry Sir! This is not what we can solve! Solve what with this criminal. Please I have to leave!" Aminat said.

"Why did you just called her a criminal! What is really going on between you guys!" He had been so suspicious about their behaviours.

"Never mind on that Sir! She must be stupid for calling me that!" Hamidat said, the Man breathe in and went to a corner. Brought his phone out from his pocket and making a call, everybody were looking at them.

"Good morning Sir! I don't understand the two teams leaders, they have been busy shouting at each other and keeps say that they can't work together here!" The chief inspector general was sitting on his chair at his office, he smiled and spoke.

"Let them know that they can't be transferred back to their formal place, they should get that right!" 

"But Sir! They are busy fighting with each other, calling themselves different names. With the way they are doing, I don't think that they can work together as a team, they are acting toxic to each other!" 

"Leave them alone, order them as their head and don't pay attention to any stupid things that they are doing. Later they will settle everything that is between them. Ignore them, and let them know that they can't be take back to where they came from!" He hanged up.

The man too hanged up, put the phone back inside his pocket and went back to where Aminat and Hamidat were. Standing and looking at two of them.

"The final has been said by chief inspector general and I am saying it again, you can't be transferred to anywhere or where you came from. So know how you will solve everything between you guys out!" Two of them looked at the man.

"Welcome to the new Detective headquarter!" The man turned back and wanted to be going back to his office, when a lady got there who was a cleaner.

"Welcome Ma and everybody! I have cleaned your office, please come with me let me lead you to!"

"Come back here! I can never be in the same office with that! Please go and clean another office for me and my teams!" Aminat said with loud voice. 

"But as a team how can you be able to do it if you are in separate offices! This is not what we are told!" The lady that first attended to them said.

"Get them separate offices and close that one for now!" Their Boss said and going to his office and the cleaner left. Two of them faced their teams with anger showed all over them.

"I don't want you to have anything to do with that team. Forget about what I have told you at the office, you must not have anything to do with those guys. I hope you hear me or you are deaf!" Aminat said loudly.

"Don't ever go against my orders, we are not here to work with anybody or with that rascal. I am your only leader here, nobody have any right on you!" Hamidat said loudly to her teams, her teams and Aminat didn't know what to say just looking at each other
