I gradually found myself waking up, and I learn it was morning. I wanted to sail out of bed at that moment, but I was too weak to do so since my whole body was screaming fire.

"Ah!" I let out a whine when I struggled to sit up on my butt, I was now placing my head against the wall behind my back and I shut my eyes.

I was pained, and my heart is boiling in anger but I was battling to control it. I can't let Hidalgo keep treating me this way; I can not let him!

After a few minutes are gone, I heard my phone ringing beside me and I snapped my eyes open. I glance behind me and I quickly snatched my phone and peek at the screen.

It was Cassandra.

"Hello!" I clicked my finger on the screen and placed it on my right ear.

"Gabrielle, there is a problem!" Cassandra's voice sounded so urgent and intense.

"What's wrong?!" I panicked, sailing out of the bed swiftly but I fell back when I felt an awful pain in between my legs. "Ah!"
