My heart leaped and I was quick to hide the sketch under the jumper I recently removed, breathing fast as I turned to him. Goddess, I almost died back there.

“There’s something called knocking!” I reminded him, getting off my chair and side-eyeing my sketchpad unnoticeably to see if it was properly hidden.

My attention heightened when I saw him wearing a red crimson top and shorts, something my dad would wear when playing golf with his fellow Alphas—which rarely happens. My room lights were at the brightest and even with my poor eyesight, I could see him so clearly now.

His skin, even with his age and all he might’ve gone through in his rule, was like a baby’s own—if you overlook the mouth-watering tattoos and few scars—and so much of his leg muscles, along with his hand muscles, were exposed so don’t mind me if it takes a lot of time to… process it.

His midnight black hair was so long now that it was bothering his face and I could tell it reached the back of his neck.
