Chapter 33

I tried hauling myself forward amidst the fire that warmed up the environment but I was held down. I was in sobs and I still could remember my moments with him in the car. The police had surrounded the place.

“Please let go of me, I need to see Antonio” I struggled but then I was not given the chance. I tried pushing my way amidst the crowd but then I wasn't allowed in.

I watched how the car slowly burned to ashes. The firefighters came a little later. I crumbled on the floor and just screamed. Antonio’s suit was still with me. I stared at it while I brushed my hand on it. More tears rolled out. I could remember the dry smile he put on me before I jumped out of the car. It was at that moment I realized he didn’t want me to die and that’s why he made me jump out alone.

After some minutes, I was taken by the police and was taken care of and wrapped with a blanket. I wanted to get close to the car but I wasn’t allowed to. I was questioned but I couldn’t say a word. I was still traumat
