The next week passed very quickly. There was a lot to clarify and plan for. All that happened had stirred up a lot and my father was a big problem. It wasn't easy to decide what exactly should happen to him. It's a miracle he was still alive. Xavier was upset because my father wanted to kill me and you couldn't blame him. An alpha and someone wanted to kill their mate, that was the ultimate nightmare.

I had not visited my father in the dungeon. Also for what? The man would only make me angry and I could do without that.

But today was the day and I would see him again. The last few days he had already had to bathe in his sorrow. I didn't know the details, but I knew that he had suffered. Just because of the silver in his blood.

Today would be my father's last. At least that's how Xavier and Jason had sorted it all out. I stayed out of it for the most part. I only noticed something every now and then.
