CHAPTER THREE

As the event commenced, Laurie was still admiring James and she said she would try to get to know him and connect with him but her timidity won't allow it. Even the people around him won't allow her to speak with him.

She believed that since he is a successful businessman she would learn a lot from him and will apply everything she learnt from him in her business 

James came on stage, spoke about how to grow and develop a business to everyone. She really learnt a lot from him and she promised herself to apply everything she has learnt from James in her business. 

It was time for business recognition, each business owner came on stage to talk about their business, showcase their portfolio and business proposals. Then it got to Laurie's turn, she was nervous and so timid that James noticed. She really showcased her products, talked about her business proposals very well and people were so impressed that she spoke so well. She was the youngest among all other business owners. 

Even James was impressed and he was keen to listen to her throughout her business presentation then he was surprised that a young lady was given a special invite to attend his business event and she really gave a wonderful presentation. James saw determination, zealousness and focus as she gave her business presentation and speech. He then decides to get to know more about her. 

Meanwhile, James was a man that is always surrounded by different kind of women. They are always attracted to him and agrees to any of his offer because he is wealthy and influential. Then he thought he would be able to get Laurie cheaply just like the way he got and user other girls. 

As she finished speaking, Laurie went back to her seat beautifully. James admired her every moves and concluded that she is really a beautiful lady. But he is a man of pride and he doesn't compliment, beg or persuade. He gets anything he wants forcefully and deceitfully. Then he plans on getting Laurie that way too.
