 There was total silence in the room as soon as Ryan and Adrian walked in. 

Surprisingly, every member of the council had gathered in the meeting room already and Ryan could already tell by the looks on their faces that they planned on attempting to irritate him to no end. 

"Welcome back to life Alpha Ryan," Nigel, the oldest member of the council, spoke up, not bothering to hide his sarcasm.
