Chapter Twenty-nine
Amelia stared lazily at the mirror in front of her with a worried look on her face. After Ryan had suddenly informed her that she was going to be introduced to the council today, she hasn't stopped staring at herself in the mirror.
She immediately started to rehearse her words and her reaction but even after talking to herself and picturing how the entire situation would play out in her head, she still felt very nervous and unsure about the idea of putting herself out there.
She had suggested the idea to Ryan back when she thought she was confident enough to face them but right now, she wasn't feeling as confident as she thought she'd be. Another reason she even suggested that Ryan introduced her to the council was because she was sick and tired of having to stay cooped up in her room all day with Isabel
