Chapter 41

"Maddox!" Lucas called out, trying to snap the Alpha out of it.Lucas grabbed the either side of the Alpha's shoulders before looking into his eyes and was instantly engulfed into the darkness.

With confusion lingering in his eyes, Lucas stepped forward only to feel his feets burning.Stepping back, he tried to run away.It was too much, the pain increased and it almost feels like he is on fire.

In the midst of all these, he noticed a pair of eyes staring at him.Those eyes look very much familiar.

Something was wrong, he could feel it but before he had the chance to think further, he was thrown back and darkness around him faded.He was back outside the room, staring at Maddox who was standing still in front of him but now calm.
