Chapter 1 Strange sounds

9:30 pm, One enticing night

Her third day of work.....

She was working on the huge set of files lay on her desk by the department manager- Mr. Chen. Who initially have made her previous days difficult for her. 

Is her dream, her dream to work in one of the richest established companies in Shanghai. Since her degree is good and well qualified for the job.

AV Entertainment industry happened to be her lucky chance to work in, Now she has finally achieved that, it's up to her to show off her best to the company.

She has to undergo a tasting task for a week to classify her as well qualified staff, It's wasn't easy for she got the appointment on the first day.

Although her degrees were great, the administration manager wasn't yet satisfied with her well- begin the presentation. The task was to show if truly she can keep up working 14 hours of the day disregard the stress each day brings on her, she agreed.

This is her only chance! 

AV Entertainment industry might happen to be one of the best and well paid but she had to work more to earn it. 

She was happy her presentation gets approved and began work the next day. 

Her task was kept under the care of Mr. Chen, her department manager. A stunning-looking man fixed in his thirties. Always filling up her desk with files to work on, she could barely sleep as each day pass with its stress but had to prove her best she deserve the position no matter the outrage she received.

She checked her watch at 9:50 pm, the time does spin fast. She looks up the roof, sighed a relief breath

Goodness, she's done!

RING! RING!! RING!!!

Cell phone sounds drop her head down to the desk.

Fen's calling, her BFF 

"Hello?" She answered tiredly

"When are you coming back?!" Her voice sounds worried and same time anger at the late hours she spends at work.

For crying out! She's just a new starter nor some old stayers!

"Soon I promise" she hangs up not giving her room to finished her worries speech. 

Immediately she picked up the file and head out of the staff's room to Mr. Chen's office.

Along the way, she notices all employees have gone home except her alone. But Mr. Chen would still be around right? She thought to herself internally, fully ensured. 

She made her way through the stairs, not sufficiently sure what way leads to Mr. Chen's office since she hasn't submitted files to him in his office before, which makes it a little challenging for her to conquer. 

She gets to a smooth walkway when she practically recalls the other workers whispering Mr. Chen's office might be on floor 15.

She simply walks into the elevator to save her more time to his office. Press number button 15. silently she stays on for the elevator to does its magic.

After 15 minutes, the elevator ends at floor 15 just the place she wanted. Firmly walks out.

At that moment, the power supply went off. suddenly, darkness covered the whole building.

The sight of darkness terrified her to her bones, she holds on to the files tightly to her body, As her eyes wandering silently in fear. She can't go the way back since a lick dark cloud has covered the surface of the building. Her cell phone was not with her making things extremely difficult.

She swallows down her saliva and continues walking despite being afraid of the dark.  She counts her steps forward, lips playing on every step she makes.

Then, she heard broken glass sounds from one of the rooms beside her. She didn't know if that might be Mr. Chen's room.

"Mr. Chen!" She calls terrifyingly, but none answered. She wanted to walk away but heard another sound. It's didn't sound like broken glass but sounds different to her ears.

It sounds like a woman moaning in pleasure. She wasn't quite sure but wants to know what exactly makes that sound.

She build up her courage ignoring the sight of fear, what's if someone is in trouble and needed help? 

She made her way closer to the wall feeling every part of it with her free hand slowly, her hand ends on the doorknob 

CLICK! 

The doorknob sounds and she walks in, closing the door behind her. The lights went back on, her eyes widened to what she saw! 

A stunning lady around her twenties laid comfortably on the office table, both legs widened spread like that of a reading book.

Head bend at the table edge, her floppy red gown was packed up displaying her lovely straight laps.

At the side of her lifted thighs, stands a damn good-looking- no man, the word good-looking was a huge understatement to describe the man. She stood amused as she almost gaped at the man's appearance, He was out of the world of extraordinarily handsome.

Tall in height, his inky darkish hair was swept back away unmasking his charming face, He had a strong, defined, and masculine jawline, it was the act of perfection! 

He looks too good to be true, such a mortal man looked like a descending king from above just like some of her anime princes she watched and adore.

She glanced down to where the man was standing, nothing seem to loosen on him like he barely touched her. The couple remains silent, staring at the confused girl's observation.

Her eyes quickly move before entering eye contact with him.

Her glance went back to the lady laying hopelessly on the desk, her hands flew to her mouth as she recognized her face. Isn't that Chu Hua? The famous actress in the industry, who has won the best awards due to her achievement in the acting industry?; What is she doing in a room with an unknown man?  At that point, she realized she shouldn't have come in the first place. She looked curiously away, showing off her back to them 

"I'm sorry..." She apologizes instantly

"I didn't see anything!" Her hands hook up with the doorknob.

"Wait!" She heard his cold, husky and deep voice.

Immediately, she stops, stuck in with terror, eyes moving in silence.

She could hear her heart beats fast, legs shivering to the immediate slient of the man.

The lady stays muted no words were out of her mouth 

The stunning demon feeds his eyes on her, defining the shape of her body with no words out. Seconds turn into minutes 

She still stands deadly, feeling the dropping sweats cupped on her face.

All this time, the stunning demon was glaring up and down at her, speaks of looks to kill 

"Who are you? An employee or a cleaner?" 

Finally, breaking the silence in the room. She flinched back from her lost state of fear in his voice. 

" I'm an employee...sir" her voice shakes as she speaks.

"Hmmm" he sighed

" What department?" 

She didn't understand why all the questions about her post but the way she saw it, the man must be one of the department managers 

"1st-floor department, sorry I was trying to find Mr. Chen's office and I heard...." 

"What's your name?" His deep voice overpowered her, cutting her short along the way. She stays muted too scared to answer.

"I said what's your name?!" He speaks a bit harshly this time. 

"Ah Lam, Sir" she scarily replied, blinking her eyes continuously.

"Ah Lam.." he repeated, slowly writing it down on a piece of files before him.

"Get out!" He commands, 

That's was unexpected, she was thinking he was going to keep on asking her more questions.

Immediately she flew out without a second thought. What the hell just happened? Feeling relief out of the awkward situation she found herself earlier in.

Quickly, she continues her search and found Mr. Chen's office which his name was practically written on it.

She knocked, not applying to make the same mistakes again but no one answered. She press on the doorknob and found it unlocked.

Mr. Chen must be in, she thought.

She bashes in, no sight of Mr. Chen in 

"Mr. Chen!" She calls, none response. She drops off the files on his office desk and ran out. As fast as her legs could carry her, packed off her things and head out of the building. She ordered a cab, which came to pick her up.

As soon she entered, relieving her mind, her thoughts went back to the incident. 

Who exactly was the man that makes a famous actress like Chu Hua offered herself shameless to him?  She drifts off her mind from that. Bought out her phone and texted Fen, 

"I'll soon be home" she sent.

She breathe in and shut her eyes.

Suddenly, waked up by the driver, she's already home, getting to the door she notices Fen must be fast asleep.

She opened the door with her spear keys went in and did all her necessary routine before going to bed.

She laid down, turns to the other side of the room watched Fen snoring her way out, a lot of saliva gather in her mouth dropping out.

She giggled, looks at the room roof. Prayer tomorrow wouldn't be trouble for her.

Back in AV Entertainment...

Meanwhile, in the room, immediately she was ordered out, the man sat comfortably on the couch behind him. 

"Get out," he said calmly, hand crosses his eligible nose.

"But why?" The lady asked confusedly, she known, she haven't done anything wrong and always follow his orders. Now, why chasing her out? 

He lifts his face slightly at her. " You'd heard what I said right?" 

"Yes but.."

"Get out!" 

She quickly get down from the table and went on her knees. 

"The contract has not been void, I still have more days to be your girlfriend" she pleased mercifully,

He smirks as the devil himself, 

"Girlfriend.., you've broken the first law"

"What law?" The lady asked, lost in thoughts. 

"Zhao!" He called angrily 

A man appeared from nowhere, assumed waiting to be called. 

The young man bought out a file note and read out the words in it.

" Number one rules, a contracted girlfriend should never lie about herself. Always say everything about yourself.

Number two rules, a contracted girlfriend should asked for everything except to be love or affection as far she remains the president girlfriend if not all contractors will be void and null"

The man finished reading. 

"You heard him right?" His fierce voice getting ready to burns asked,

The lady trembles in fear, "I'm.. sorry" her voice shakes.

"There are no mistakes tolerate in my empire, you lied to me and you also seek love" he chuckled devilishly

"You know what comes after"

The lady fell weak and speechless, what has she done? 

He slaps his fingers, and two huge men appear in. 

"Take this thing out of my sight!" He fiercely order, the lady was dragged out ignored her pleading. 

"Zhao" 

"Yes, president!" He answered loyalty, 

"I want to know everything about that girl"

"Sure sir!" 

He adjusted himself neatly and walks his way out followed by Zhao.
