Hannock's evil laughter filled the beautiful night and it started ringing into Mizuko's ear. Her wide eyes darted at demon she shot and the man beside him, calling his name, Zhemier. Pixie had called Kenshi that name before.
Everything was in slow motion, even the way she blinked and her tears falling down. She ran towards Kenshi but her feet were suddenly heavy, taking her some time to even take a step. What's happening to her?
