Chapter 52
A portal suddenly appeared up above Mizuko and all she could see was someone's back. He was in clothing she has not seen in a while now. His arrival created a wave of energy, making the devil who was about to attack her fly in a fair distance.
"Dang, so this was the stinky smell!"
That voice! Mizuko's eyes widened, freezing in there. And then the man had turned around to confirmed her guess.
"Ke-Kenshi," she murmurs.
"Eh?" He curves a corner of his mouth upwards. "You sound like you know me."
"I-I—" She couldn't finish what she was going to say when she saw another devil coming. But to her surprise Kenshi just raised his hand and the demon exploded into pieces. This was like what he did that time when they went sneaking on a Fae.
