Chapter 26 The Pill

I stared at the tiny little pill no larger than a pin head. This little thing was going to help me? Samantha brought out a bottle of water and sat it on the side table beside the couch. I swallowed the pill and drank half the bottle in one gulp.

“You may want to change into your pajamas.” She mentioned as she had already changed into a tank and shorts. “I’ll leave the window open but if you get cold here’s a blanket.” She flipped it over the back of the couch. “So, get comfortable and I’ll start the movie.” She smiled as I stretched out on the couch, she hit play and cuddled in with me. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her closer, her flowery scent calming me.
