Samantha just stood there for a moment. “Wait a minute, what?”

“When the trackers brought them in, he was with them. We separated him from the rogues and put him in the special cell. He doesn’t want to let us take him to the hospital, he doesn’t smell like a rogue, and he is only about 9 or 10.”

“We can’t have a pup down there are you crazy?” Samantha growled before rushing off, I am right behind her. I hear growling and screaming coming from the cells before I enter, the guards looking at me in silent respect. As soon as we enter, I hesitate, the smell is overpowering and the ‘walking dead’ are whooping and hollering. She glares at all the prisoners before blasting out her command. “Shut up!”

Instantly everyone quiets down and Samantha walks to the closest cell and peers inside. Inside is a young boy, tears are running down his face and he is
