Chapter 89 Regret

“Answer him!” Daren demanded. “Where have you been?”

“We just went into town.” Jake said. “We hit traffic on the way back.”

Daren snorted as he clinched his fists.

“Where in town?” Greg stated again, calmly.

“That new sporting goods store, to lunch and we caught a movie....” I muttered, feeling for my mate through my radar. She wasn’t here. Neither was Violet. “Where is Samantha?”

Daren snorted again, I could see the anger in his eyes as he stood up and walked right up to me.

“Daren sit down.” Greg commanded in his Gamma tone. “If you hit him she will feel it.”

He growled again backing away from me and sitting on the couch again. “Just wait though...” He raised a finger. “Tomorrow you will feel it.”
