Chapter 88 Fateful Friday
New Year's came and went, and my mate seemed to be in overdrive, working all hours of the day and night. When I asked her why she giggled and smiled, saying that she was just trying to get ahead of schedule. That Friday I woke up before I normally do, and she was already gone. I glanced around before I found a note on the table.
