After she agreed to the deal, Azazel suddenly vanished. Olivia felt the warmth of his body go cold against her back and pulled her knees up tight to her chest. She tried to remember when she had last eaten, but instead she recalled the sensation of nausea that washed over her as she took a breath in. The walls around her shimmered and disappeared. Her eyes closed for a moment, then popped open as she felt an ever more strange sensation in her body.
