“You’re doing great,” Nathan got off the car and walked around to the driver’s seat. “You’ve worked hard yet again today. Let me drive you back,” he added and swapped seats with Audrey.
It’s almost three in the afternoon and Audrey successfully completed a round trip within the residence without getting so panicked. She still felt frightened and her body would sometimes quiver all of a sudden while she was tightly gripping on the steering wheel but all turned out fine since Nathan was there to remind her that she’d be safe. Audrey knew she still needed more time to get used to driving alone, and she didn’t wish to stay dependent on anyone forever. Her determination helped her a lot to boost her mental state and somehow, took control over her unstable emotions when it’s concerning her trauma.
