Chapter 46
A week had passed and Audrey became more distant. Shane was glad that she was cooperating but her silence made him feel that something wasn’t right. The actor would usually spend his time during the day sitting on the couch alone in the living room just like what he was currently doing or strolling outside the house but within the estate. Sometimes, he would be found settling on the bench in the orchard and watch Audrey and Nathan enjoy their time while the blond was teaching her to drive to become more independent as she faced her trauma.
Shane's vacation was about to end and Lucy would not stop bugging him about hiring a new personal assistant as he badly needed one for the upcoming photography of his next project. Shane personally didn’t like having anyone else around him except his manager, so he purposely ignored Lucy’s request about getting a new PA.
