“I can’t take this,” Shane mumbled and stormed out of the room. He knew he deserved it but facing reality wasn’t easy. He thought he had the chance to get together with her after she lost her memories. It was selfish of him but he was hoping for the better and it turned out that Audrey was better without him in life.

“Tsk! That guy,” Tristan mumbled and turned to Audrey with a small smile. “Please excuse me for a second. I have something to tell him,” he said and left to follow Shane. No one knew how he was satisfied to see Shane’s reaction after what Audrey’s maid told her about him. However, he felt the need to give Shane a push. Perhaps because he could imagine how painful it was to be considered dead by people one cared for.
