62. Her Real Father

Elisha’s POV

As the man's baritone, raspy voice echoed from every direction; I blinked my eyes wide open. He talked to us all through a speaker, and I can't picture what he looked like.

“Okay, as we go through this. Take Elisha to her room, put her new things, and put the tracker in her ankle because I don’t want her to escape anymore.” The man said in a serious tone. Then suddenly the wide elevator opened, and I saw a group of nurses about to hold my arm, I kicked them away, but they put the taser on my neck, and it made me feel weak.

Jake said, “Hey, don’t hurt her, okay?”

Madeline interrupted, “If she fights, they can hurt her. She’s so stubborn, she needs a lesson.”

Jake fell silent in the corner, and the nurse took me into the lift and took me to the fourth floor. I don't know what kind of place this is. I can't see any land or windows from the outside, so it might be underground. At the same time, it was all dark and scary.
