Chapter 33- Evelyn
What is this loud beeping in my ears?
Who the hell set the alarm?
Please someone just shut that damn thing down. I want to sleep some more.
I groaned and stretched my arm to reach for that damned thing but instead my hand came in contact with something hairy.
Wait alarm clocks don’t have hair.
I opened my eyes wide, instantly regretting it. Bright light glared in my eyes making me wince instantly. I closed my eyes and slowly opened them again.
As usual I am in a hospital room with Adrian drooling on the side of my bed. I need to break this pattern. I sat up and I actually felt good. I feel well rested.
Should I wake him up?
I looked out of the window. It looks to be in the middle of the afternoon.
How did I get here again? I can’t remember.
They have put a needle in my arm again. I think I will soon be resembling a flat tire with the amount of needles stuck in me in a mere few days.

It’s been a month since Evelyn, Lizzy and Adrian came to the Night Walker pack. They were introduced to the pack at the end of the first week there.As the pack didn’t have the Luna, Lizzy had to fulfill the part of the beta female as well as Luna. Damien had smashed the things in the room. Broken lamp, pictures, etc. were lying everywhere.“Yes.” Damien’s said in a hoarse voice.‘He doesn’t have the right to sulk’, Caiden thought.“Alpha Lizzy, Adrian and Evelyn have left the pack last night.” He said in monotone.“Evelyn” Damien said testing her name. The last month went good and uneventful which I am grateful for. I am gaining weight at a rapid rate though. I had started to have weird cravings and I eat almost all the time I am not doing anything.Today I have my first ultrasound appointment and I am really excited about it. Adrian is going to come with me to the appointment and Lizzy is going to be my doctor. I hope my baby is alright.We just had our breakfast. The appointment is at eleven, which is in two hours. I cleaned the table and Adrian went for his usual training. After half an hour of cleaning I am done with the table.I went outside to water the plants in the garden. The time went by pretty quickly. Days are passing by like a blur. I am about three months along and swelling like a balloon. It wouldn’t be long before I resemble a whale. It’s getting hard to move around though. My feet keeps swelling like someone is filling them with gas.Lizzy has ordered everyone not to let me work due to which I have nothing to do all day than eat, sleep and wonder by the woods, which I do by sneaking around. “Why would he get mad? It’s not like we are planning on doing something illegal or against pack laws. You need to get out of here. Besides you are growing in size so you will be needing new clothes. I laughed at him which he returned with a hard glare and continued to pick the clothes. I found a chair and sat down. I know he will buy everything that’s needed. I don’t need to worry about it. After two hours of watching Adrian throwing everything he liked in the shopping cart, he was done. My butt started to ache from all the sitting but he was still full of energy. He paid and told me to wait while he dropped the bags in the car. He came back in five minutes and dragged me to buy clothes for my enlarged self. Adrian being Adrian grabbed anything he liked including some loose flowy dresses for later. I didn’t complain as all I had to do was to sit down and watch him dance around… not literally.
