"Which of the options are you going with?" I heard him ask pulling me out of my subconscious state. I looked at him, clearing my throat "I’ll go for the first option" I said to him. I saw his lips pull into a smile "Why not the second option?" he said. "Cause it was in no way an advantage to me," I said angrily. He chuckled slightly standing up from his seat, he walked up to me "You sure?" he asked with a taunting smile. "Let's go straight to the point, I've chosen an option, so what next?" I asked walking to a couch and sitting on it like I owned the place, I was deliberately testing his patience "Seven months...You'll be my fiancee for seven months, that's how long I'll need you" he said to me "Seven months? Just because you saved my life for a night" I asked him, this man was crazy!! "Should I add today's debt also?" he asked looking straight at me, I didn't quite get his words. "Huh?" "Saving your life for the second time, out of my busy schedule, you think I work as a
Mirabel's POV I kept on sobbing, with my arms wrapped around my best friend tightly, I felt her hands move around my back to calm me down. "This is the longest day of my life, Arabella," I said as I stopped sobbing. She freed me from the tight hug, using her hands to clean the tears from my face. "It's okay, let's go inside, we can talk inside," she said and I nodded, it was cold out here, and I wonder how long she sat on my porch waiting for me... "Why didn't you use your spare key?" I asked her, she has a key to my apartment, so why stay outside when it was cold? "I left my house in worry, I didn't have the time to check if my key was with me" I nodded in response hearing her explanation as we entered the house. I walked into the apartment and threw myself on the couch out of tiredness. "What should I make, are you hungry?" I heard Arabella ask me. "I'm not hungry I just need water," I said to her and she nodded to me walking to the kitchen to get water for me. I ate a lot of
Mirabel's POV We sat on the four-corner dining table eating our breakfast when suddenly we heard the doorbell ring outside. Arabella and I looked at each other, who could be at the door? No one visits me except Arabella, so who might be at the door, I stood up from my seat to go get the door, but Arabella suddenly said "Sit, I'll get it" she stood up and walked to the door, she peeped through the peephole before she opened the door, I could see the entrance door from the dining but the person stood outside, so I didn't see anyone. I heard them converse before Arabella called out to me. "You have a package, Mira" I stood up and walked to the door when she said so. I saw a delivery man standing outside, "Mirabel Jayden?" he asked me and I nodded. He handed out a package to me and gave me something to sign on. I gave it back to him after signing it. "Thank you, ma'am," he said before leaving. Arabella and I entered the house and slammed the door shut. "Who would have sent it?" sh

***** Arabella's POV I turned around my bed lazily as I got up, checking the time on my phone before I stood up and went into the bathroom, it was 8:00 AM on Wednesday. "Yeah... it's Wednesday morning," I said to myself as I walked into the bathroom, the application for GOLD FOX ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY was today, and although I was determined to get the job, the thought of 'what ifs' was scaring me deep down. 'What if I don't get picked out of the thousand people that might apply also?' I wondered to myself as I stood still facing the mirror in the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and then showered up before walking out of the bathroom with a towel I used to dry my hair. I came out early to hear my phone suddenly ding, signifying that I received a message. Walking to my bed, I picked the phone up and saw a message which was from Arabella. ~~ Wakey wakey, sleepy head... It's today, you have to get there, by all means, ~~ The message read, I smiled seeing her message which was
Arriving at my destination, I came down from the taxi, looking up at the tall building before I entered inside. I greeted the familiar faces of my colleagues as I made my way to a particular office. I stood outside a door and knocked on it. "Come in" I heard the familiar voice say, and I opened the door, peeping inside first before entering. "Good Afternoon, Director Wade" I greeted the man inside the office, who heard my voice and turned his swiveling chair to face me. "Miss Jayden, how are you doing?" he asked pointing to a seat for me to sit on. "I'm fine, sir" I replied with a smile. Director Wade of Spark Light entertainment industry, was a nice man, one of the people I had a good relationship with working here. "What brings you here? I doubt you have a film shooting to do today" he asked and I shook my head as a sign that I don't. "I came for something else," I said to him. "Ok... I'm listening" he said and I started the conversation by telling him about how I intended to
Mirabel's POV Earlier the next morning, I woke up at the sound of my alarm which I had set to 6:00 AM. Jumping off the bed, I stopped the alarm and sauntered to the bathroom, following my usual routine of brushing my teeth and washing my hair with shampoo, before taking my shower. I did that for almost twenty minutes, walking out of the bathroom, with a small towel that I was using to rub off the water from my hair. With a towel wrapped around me, and the other tied to my head, I strode to my closet. Staring at my clothes and debating on what to wear. I ended up settling with my aquamarine top blouse and trousers. I packed my hair into a bun and did makeup on my face, a very light one. After dressing up completely, I fitted on my flats, just something moderate enough for me to walk comfortably. I stepped out of my room and headed to the kitchen, I made quick pancakes, and ate it all, in a rush. After everything, I left the house and checked the time on my phone, it was 7:20 AM
Unfolding the paper I stood there staring at it, I was acting the scene of 'AT LEAST I WON'T DIE ALONE - from don't leave me without muffin' a drama My script read " Ginger aims to run away from home in the middle of the night". All I had to do is to make the judges, also known as the casting crew feel the moment of the script, as I run in fear. I waited patiently for my turn as I saw each participant enter in through the door and sauntered out after five minutes. After hours of waiting it finally reached Number 55. She went in, but to my surprise, she came out in less than five minutes with tears flowing down her eyes, what might have happened? seeing her in this state caused fear to build up in me. "Participant Number 56, come in now" I wiggled out of my thoughts when I suddenly heard my number being called by the Stage manager. I made my way into the room and entering in, I saw three people, a male and two females who happened to be the casting team serving as the judges. I
