Chapter 56

****MONDAY**

Mirabel decided to drop off from the car and go straight to her workplace, Gold Fox, on their way back.

The car finally came to a halt when it reached her destination, Mirabel cleared her throat and glanced at Axel who wasn't saying anything ever since.

"I guess this is where we say our goodbyes, I'm going to my house after work," she said.

"Come back to my house," Axel said to her without sparing her a stare, his words shocked Mirabel, come back to his house? for what? was there still a need for that? she wondered

"My family can visit anytime, and I'll leave for a business trip tomorrow," Axel said in his deep voice.
