Chapter 69: One with the Gods

Aria's POV:

I regain consciousness and found myself lying on the marble pedestal in the middle of nowhere. I noticed that all of my clothes were gone, but I didn't feel cold. There's a lush warm sensation within me. There is no pain in my body and no wounds or scar. I feel light as a feather and no heavy feeling or burden is weighing on me. I never thought that I was going to experience this euphoric feeling and tranquillity in my life. There is a rainbow of emotions at my disposal and yet, why do I still feel empty?

"Am I dead?"

That's the first thing that comes to my head. I don't feel threatened or worried and sense no harm. I get up, sat down on the pedestal, and look around me to see my surroundings all I can see was a bright light of infinite nothingness.

"Where am I?" I whispered to myself.
