Two weeks later

Alex and Zoey drove up in a driveway.

“You’re ready?”, Alex asked.

Zoey nodded. “Let’s do this.”, she stated as she covered her face with a red lace mask.

They both got out of the car, Alex was dressed up in a black suit with a red tie that Zoey chose, and Zoey wore a red silk dress. Alex adjusted his mask and he continued to walk.

“State your names please.”, the bodyguard with the list said.

Zoey squinted her eyes and began to hypnotize him, Alex noticed her eyes glowing bright red.

“How did you get that power?”, Alex questioned. “And when?”

“I guess it just comes naturally.”, Zoey shrugged it off and brushed her hair back.

Alex chuckled and placed a kiss on her temple.

“I love you.”, he stated.

“I love you way more.”, Zoey stated as she smiled warmly.

They both entered the party and they saw Edward coming down the staircase to join the party that he threw.
