Zoey’s Pov

“Wait…then how are you still alive even though you drank of my blood in the past?”, I asked.

What the hell is happening… I don’t understand a single thing and by the look on Alex’s face, it doesn’t add up to him either.

“I don’t know.”, Alex said.

Just before I could say anything, we heard someone banging against the door. Alex was about to get up from the bed, but I quickly grabbed his wrist. I threw him a shirt and decided to put on my boots.

“We’ve got to run…like right now…”, I whispered to Alex.

“Wait…something is not right…do you still have your katana?”, Alex asked me.

My eyes widened as I remembered it was Edward who gave me the weapons.
