Hunters and the Hunted.

I walked off the road and turned into one of the dimly lit alleyways. The cold night breeze blew into my face and it carried the smell of something else with it, humans enhanced by witchcraft, there were two of them actually, lurking in the darkness of the alley. The smell in the breeze was a familiar one, vervain on cold steele. These two hunters were coming for me and perhaps they believed that they were fully prepared and ready to tear me to shreds, silver weapons, wooden stakes, crucifix, holy water and more, these would have given them a chance or even allowed them to defeat me if I was one of these low leveled, young vampires, but damn, they were in for a surprise.

No hunter in town would dare come after me, I thought. This made me to conclude that these two must not be from around here, or they must really be out of there minds. So, I decided to talk them out of their foolishness.
