Chapter 15

Ashley gazes at her mum as she paces round the house non-stop, worry marred on her face. She tried calming her down, but it didn't work, not that she did really care. She has her problem to deal with.

Ever since Christ went missing, she has lost her appetite to eat, work or do anything, she felt reluctant. There's still no news about his whereabouts, and his body has not yet been found. But unbeknownst to her, Christ is alive and back to work.

Her mum won't stay still or even listen to her. Maybe she had another misunderstanding with dad, and why is Anita still not here? She thought.

She rested her back on the couch and closed her eyes to rest them. Minutes pass, and there was still no sight of Anita.

Ashley opened her eyes to see her mum still parading, she stood up and was about walking to her room, when Anita walked into the leaving room.
