Chapter 89

Christ step out of his car. He fixed his neck tie, and leisurely marched into his wife's company.

As he led his way to her office, all eyes were glued to him, astound to see him. His body was said to be missing, but today, out of the blue, he is striding in the mixed of people heading to his wife's office.

He got to her office, and her secretary quickly stood up to welcome him.

"Good morning, sir, she's not inside." She greeted.

"What do you mean? Did she call in that she won't be coming to the office?" Christ asked.

She cast her gaze down, thinking of what to say to him. She overheard Khalifa saying she's nowhere to be found, and she couldn't tell him that.

"Are you deaf? I'm talking to you, did she call in sick?"

"Do not shout at her brother, if you miss your wife, what took you so long to come find her?" He heard Steve's voice and spun around.

Steve stride towards him with a sad expression on his face. He halt in front of Christ , staring deep in his eyes.

"Where is my wife, Steve?
