Christ disguised himself and stood 15 feet from where the deceased girl was about to be lay to rest. He had to attend her funeral to pay his last respect to her.

He has been feeling guilty of what happened to her, maybe if he had not visited her at the hotel, Beatrice wouldn't have killed her, she would still be alive.
