Ejimae sat quietly in his car, waiting for Beatrice to meet him outside the compound. He came to pay his condolences to her, and also wanted to question her about the death of her husband.

"Did you forget something? The security man said you wanted to see me, I thought you left already?" Beatrice asked, and he shook his head.
